Archie Gray Nursing Home is an attractive ground level facility containing 11 single occupancy units with a covered entry. The decor is modern and bright with specially selected carpets, soft furnishings and wall colours. Residents are encouraged to bring items such as photographs and personal mementos to decorate their rooms which contain a bed specific to the needs of the resident, built in wardrobe, display shelves chair and dressing table with mirror, en suite, television points and excellent ducted heating and cooling systems. We are passionate about respecting the privacy, dignity and safety of our residents while maintaining a home filled with the highest degree of loving compassionate care and encouraging the independence of each resident. Specialist equipment is available to ensure these values are maintained. The spacious rooms have views of the delightful gardens which instil a peaceful ambience.

Explanation of payment options: Residents can choose to pay for their accommodation by a refundable deposit, a daily payment, or a combination of both. A refundable deposit is paid as a lump sum amount. A daily payment accrues daily and is paid periodically, for example monthly. A combination payment includes both a partial lump sum and daily payments.
Example of a combination payment for room: For this room a resident could pay, for example, 50% of the price by a refundable deposit of $262,500.00 and 50% of the price by daily payments of $45.73.

A barbeque area is for residents' enjoyment with family members and other residents. Communal areas are welcoming and cheerful and designed to cater for residents to enjoy social occasions and family visits. Co-located with an acute hospital, residents have immediate access to urgent care facilities.

Optional additional care or services not included in the room price, charged at extra cost: The Nursing Home has a close liaison with Allied Health Professionals and Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Speech Pathologists and Dieticians are on call for residents when required. The residents participate in the activities at Day Centre if they wish. If there are other activities residents wish to participate in such as Senior Citizens, arrangements will be made for you to attend and there are weekly activities arranged specifically for residents in the Day Room. Regular outings to local attractions are thoroughly enjoyed by those residents who wish to participate. Local groups including school children are invited to entertain and Religious services are conducted at the Home to meet the diverse range of religious practices of our residents.
