Welcome to Bupa Edithvale. Our care home is located close by to one of Melbourne's great beaches and is a wonderful place to call home.
Indoors we have a delightful range of communal areas and activity rooms. We have a cafe corner and an alfresco dining room opening onto a pleasant patio area. Our library features quiet reading nooks and a cosy sitting room with open fireplace where you can relax.
If you love the great outdoors, then you'll feel comfortable at Bupa Edithvale. For those of you with green thumbs, you're invited to put your gardening skills to use in our beautiful garden complete with bird aviary.
We are happy to have new clients for our Pop in centre to give carers some free time during the day, please phone us for more details regarding this service.
Our expert staff can help including our onsite GP & Clinical manager. We welcome families requiring respite for their loved ones.
We believe it’s important for residents to maintain their personal friendships as well as facilitate new ones. Family and friends are always welcome and have unrestricted visiting hours. They’re also encouraged to participate in planning and care through our various committees and family conferences.
We provide a range of programs based on our residents needs and choices e.g dementia specific program, massage therapy, pet therapy etc. Our lifestyle programs include both home-based and community-based activities e.g gentle exercises to Bus trips, gardening, bowling, cocktail parties etc. Our staff are trained in the person 1st approach to care.
We are a concessional home but have some bonded rooms.
