Special accommodation and recreational amenities are also available for those with dementia, and include a large shaded outdoor area where residents can enjoy weekly picnics or participate in the activities program. The home is located on public transport routes.
Edwin Marsden Tooth Memorial Home provides an open environment for our residents including dedicated area kitchenettes and private lounge facilities. The service is two level with each level connected by a lift.
The facility also features a large communal dining room, lounge, additional meeting rooms, outdoor areas and a dedicated chapel. A full commercial onsite kitchen provides freshly prepared meals, which are delivered to the communal dining room. Special meals are prepared to honour cultural events, cater for special dietary requirements and special occasions. Our onsite laundry provides clothes washing services for all residents.
A range of allied health professionals regularly visit the home. They include a physiotherapist, podiatrist, dentist, optometrist, audiologist, speech therapist and a dietician. A hairdresser is also available onsite by appointment.
