Rooms are of excellent quality, fully carpeted with voile curtains, individually controlled air conditioners, built in wardrobes and TV antennas. Rooms have a secure locked box or drawer for valuables. Each room has it's own large ensuite with non-slip flooring, hand rails and a 3 in 1 bathroom fan/heater/light. All bed linen and towels etc are provided.
All rooms have views to internal courtyards or landscaped gardens, with most having direct external access via a security screen door

Explanation of payment options: Residents can choose to pay for their accommodation by a refundable deposit, a daily payment, or a combination of both. A refundable deposit is paid as a lump sum amount. A daily payment accrues daily and is paid periodically, for example monthly. A combination payment includes both a partial lump sum and daily payments.
Example of a combination payment for room: For this room a resident could pay, for example, 50% of the price by a refundable deposit of $212,500.00 and 50% of the price by daily payments of $37.02.
Common areas: Rooms have access to a fully functioning kitchen/dining area for breakfast, morning and afternoon tea and entertaining family & friends. Large, fully equipped laundries (washing machine, dryers, irons & ironing boards) are available for residents in each Court who may wish to do their own laundry.
In addition to the main Activity Room and the Main Lounge with large screen TV, all Courts have smaller lounges and "nooks" for a quiet moment or get togethers. Dunbar has a fully stocked library with smaller book cases located around the complex. A dart board and pool table is available for use by residents and visitors.
All rooms have access to computer equipment and the internet via Dunbar's 'Broadband for Senior's Kiosks'.
Dunbar's large gardens are a great talking point and are widely admired by all, providing a relaxing place to enjoy the day whether warm or cool, wet or dry. Many residents like to walk through the gardens and along the pathways for exercise or to just look at the many different varieties of flowers and shrubs growing there.
Dunbar's main Dining and Activity Rooms are large enough to accommodate full sittings as well as many of Dunbar's concerts, shows and activities.
