Gloucester Residential Care is a beautifully proportioned open plan aged care residence located in Ingle Farm, with everyday living facilities within a short walk. We strive to meet the individual, physical and well-being requirements of our residents, with a focus on supporting their personal choices to enhnace their quality of life. Moving to our current site in August 2002, our 134 bed facility continues the ethos of care that orginated at our Prospect location over 20 years ago. On arrival, impressive soaring ceilings greet you in the light, spacious and elegantly decorated reception area. This abundance of light carries through the remainder of the building and into the expansive main communal area, a popular activities hub for residents to participate in any number of social gatherings. Featuring four generous communal areas, numerous lounge rooms, covered and uncovered courtyards, several sitting rooms and an abundance of garden, there is plenty of space for residents to enjoy social gatherings and events or pursue individual activities, whatever the mood suits.
Cappuccino, latte or flat white? All are on offer at our onsite café, Oliver’s. With full height double doors overlooking a sun drenched private courtyard, Oliver’s café is a wonderful place to entertain visitors, congregate with friends, or complete a jigsaw or crossword puzzle. The covered, light saturated, plant filled central courtyard promises residents a tranquil spot to retreat and enjoy the fresh air all year round. It's a favourite place to enjoy morning tea or to simply sit and while away the time with “Lady”, our resident furry companion, as company.
With six dining areas, and a room available for private functions, residents can choose to dine with friends, enjoy a relaxed meal in a more secluded corner or celebrate special occasions. Home-style meals are prepared by our chef, in conjunction with a Dietician to deliver a broad range of menu selections. There’s a mix of sunny and shaded elements in the beautiful landscaped gardens to provide leisure and contentment outdoors. A rose lined path leads to an outdoor seating area, a most desirable place to savour the afternoon sun, chat with friends or sit for a quiet moment of contemplation. There’s the lush green lawned area, where family can loll about and enjoy the sandstone rich garden area, with manicured plants and bench seating looking over the vegie patch. At Gloucester there is space galore for our residents and visitors alike to get about.

Personal effects are stored in spacious built-in wardrobes with ample hanging and drawer space. All rooms are large enough to accommodate most treasured items and residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms to their taste. All rooms have individual heating and cooling delivered by split system units. Residents are able to install their own television. Telephone is also available with connections arranged direct with providers by residents. Soft furnishings are of a contemporary design with full length curtains, pelmets, swags and tie backs creating an atmosphere of elegance. Privacy is maintained by retractable curtains.
