Description
The Meath facilities at Kingsley are located next to reserve bushland in Hocking Road, Kingsley, near the intersection of Whitfords Avenue and Wanneroo Road. The modern facilities at Kingsley include the Dr Mary Surveyor Centre, an aged care facility, and a retirement village.

The Dr Mary Surveyor Centre is a 127 bed aged care facility. The facility caters for high, low and dementia specific secure needs. There are also 4 rooms available for respite care (short term stays).

The facility provides supported living in a secure, caring environment and has the following features:
-Each resident has a spacious single room with ensuite and television
-Telephone access is available and, Foxtel can be arranged (Perry floor only)
-Dietary needs catered for and all meals cooked on site
-Access to a registered nurse 24 hours a day
-Nurse call system and staff available 24 hours a day to provide assistance with activities of daily living
-Access to medical practitioners and allied health professionals eg. occupational therapist, physiotherapist
-Extensive activity and leisure program offered for those who wish to participate in activities
-All laundry services completed on site
-Access to hairdressing and podiatry services

Kingsley Retirement Village
The Kingsley Retirement Village comprises 48 villas in a secure, well maintained environment. Villas are either 2 or 3 bedroom and are fully self contained with kitchen, laundry, dining and lounge areas. Additionally, residences have small front gardens and rear patios and individual electronically accessed garages.

Each residence has a telephone and access to a 24 hour emergency call facility. Residents may elect to have internet access through the Meath Information Technology network.

Village residents also have access to a communal clubhouse which features:
-Fully equipped kitchen
-Lounge areas with television and computer facilities
-Bowling green
-Swimming pool
-BBQ area
-Mini-gym

Single Room Dr Mary Surveyor Centre - Single Room + Private Ensuite $500,000

All rooms at the Dr Mary Surveyor Centre are of a high quality, with carpet/hard flooring dependant upon the area. They are single rooms in fantastic condition hosting a number of features. The rooms are spacious, freshly painted and come furnished with the following items: 1 bed, a bedside drawer and bedside lamp, chest of drawers and a high back chair. The bedrooms contain built in robes which include hanging space, multiple storage compartments and also a lockable medium sized cupboard. Residents can be issued a key upon request. This key will also lock the room so privacy can be maintained. A wall mounted flat screen television with remote is located in each room and each room has the availability to turn the preset reverse cycle air conditioner on and off. Each room has a window, some with magnificent views of picturesque scenery and peaceful surrounds. These windows have good quality window treatments; a blind and sheer curtain. A picture rail runs along all walls allowing residents to hang their favourite art work or family photos.
The private ensuites contain a mirrored vanity unit above the hand basin, a laundry basket and heat lamps for winter time. The bedrooms feature Emergency Nurse Call buttons with extension cord for convenience and the private ensuites are also equipped with 2 emergency call cords (in the shower area as well as an emergency call button on the wall near the toilet). The private ensuites are generously sized with non slip tiles and hand rails around the shower area. There are additional hand rails on either side of the toilet which can be raised when not in use. Each room features a memory box outside the front door for residents to place something familiar to them such as a photo or ornament. All rooms have wide entries to allow access for hoists and specialised equipment for residents if required. The private ensuites allow for bed baths etc.

A refundable deposit is paid as a lump sum amount. A daily payment accrues daily and is paid periodically, for example monthly. Common areas: Each floor has a large comfortable communal lounge room (145.16m2) providing a peaceful outlook over park land. These are furnished with numerous lounge chairs and a large flat screen TV. We also have 2 smaller tasteful library/lounge rooms that can be closed for privacy. The Level 2 library/lounge room (37.24m2) opens onto an outside mezzanine level where residents are able to sit with guests or get some fresh air. This contains a pot plant garden maintained by a group of residents who are keen gardeners.
The ground floor hosts a courtyard accessible to all residents and families, with paved and grassed areas including seating, a water fountain and a large chess set for entertainment. Adjacent to this inside the building, is a casual seating area housing coffee and vending machines. This area can also be utilised for small gatherings and family functions. The ground floor is also home to our gymnasium.
Each floor has a Dining Room (107.41m2) for all meals. All residents are seated and individual dietary requirements catered for (including cultural requirements and modified textured diets) by our onsite kitchen. Morning, Afternoon Tea and Supper are served in the lounge areas including a variety of cakes, snacks and biscuits. Cyclical menus are developed in consultation with a dietician and reviewed at least every twelve months. Residents are encouraged to provide feedback. A continental style breakfast is served at 8:00am offering a variety of cereals, toast and juice. There is also a cooked breakfast of bacon and eggs provided fortnightly. Lunch is served at 12:00 noon with a choice of two main dishes and dessert. The evening meal is served at 5:00pm with a hearty soup and a choice between a hot meal, sandwich or salad. Seasonal fruit is served at the end of the evening meal. Residents who are able to, choose their menu on a weekly basis. Residents are welcome to invite guests to join them in a private area for a meal at a reasonable cost.
