Aged Care Assessment Teams (ACAT) is your first point of contact if you are considering moving into an aged care home or need help at home. A member from your local Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) will assess your needs free of charge and discuss your needs. The assessment will help you access the right services and care for your needs. ACAT member will also advise you if you are eligible for Government subsidised aged care services.
Note: In Victoria, ACAT is referred to as an Aged Care Assessment Service (ACAS).
